Finally!! More please.
Update: Grayson walked onto the set of the Situation Room and took the pundits to task. Swoon. You can show your love here.
Tweety recaps:
From Daily Kos:
Hilarious. Less than two weeks after the Republicans refused to support a resolution denouncing Joe Wilson (R-SC) for yelling “you lie” at the President during a Joint Session of Congress,” they’ve introduced a resolution of their own to admonish Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL):
Whereas on September 29, 2009, during proceedings on the floor of the House of Representatives, Rep. Alan Grayson from Florida described the Republican health care plan as “die quickly”;
Okay, stop right there — the only thing Grayson should be admonished about is for suggesting that the Republicans have a plan.
From Daily Kos:
How refreshing to have a Democrat who doesn’t cave to Republican whimpering.
And speaking of, House Republicans have temporarily loosened the clutch on their pearls:
House Republicans changed course on Wednesday and decided not to move forward with a resolution condemning Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Florida, for saying that the GOP health care plan calls for sick people to “die quickly.” [...]
“We thought that we would give Congressman Grayson an opportunity to do the right thing and recognize the comments that he made were disrespectful to the House and to the decorum,” [Tom] Price told CNN. [...]
He noted that House Democrats set a precedent for punishing bad behavior when they voted in favor of a resolution formally disapproving of Republican Joe Wilson for shouting “You lie!” at President Obama.
“That was the avenue that was defined by the Democrats in charge when someone breaches the decorum,” Price said. “So we chose the same vehicle.”
Uh, dumbass? You also voted against that resolution, as did 166 of your pals.
Why don’t these outraged Republicans get back to us after they line up to apologize for the garbage they’ve been spewing about health care reform in an effort to pander to their teabagging base?
Republicans have perpetuated health care reform lies in death panels for seniors, disabled children and women with breast cancer so as to protect the status quo but shhhh – don’t say it out loud. Bah.
Good on Alan Grayson.

There is a reason the symbol for Democrats is a jackass!
This blog has really gone to the dogs.
The stupidity I encounter when trying to discuss politics is burning me out. I needed a breather.
It was spam – so it didn't show up.
