Meet William Kamkwamba.
Kamkwamba is a Malawian student who was forced to drop out of school because his family lacked the necessary funds to keep him enrolled. Kamkwamba turned to a U.S. provided library where he taught himself English and built a windmill for his village – from a picture in a library book.
